Sport Lisboa e Benfica 2022-2023 away kit concept consist of three colours. It is combined black, white and red. The away shirt concept is inspired by lisbon flag consisting of black and white gyronny with red accents in sleeve cuffs and collar. The shorts is in white or black depending on the opponents.

One year after its inception, the club opted for red shirts with white collars, openings and cuffs, combined with white shorts and black socks. Benfica's white alternative kit was officially used for the first time in 1944–45, when Salgueiros, who also wore red, were promoted to the first division.
