In terms of design, the Inter Milan 2021-2022 away shirt features an eye-catching snake print across the front and back - inspired by the "modern classic" that is the 2010-11 away. The snake design that appears on the shirt is similar but not identical to the one that appeared across a variety of collection items before.
The snake is blue with a black scale pattern, similar if not identical to the one seen on the home kit.

AC Milan 2022-2023 Home Kit
Global sports company PUMA and Serie A Champions AC Milan have today launched the 2022/23 Home Kit, inspired by Milanese heritage, new generations of Rossoneri and 'That Milan Touch'.
There is nothing instant about this classic. Founded in 1899, AC Milan have been pushing the game forward ever since. Blazing trails and pushing for something greater. In 2022/23 PUMA has set out to introduce these values to the new generation of Rossoneri by letting the stripes do the talking. The result is a Home jersey that is forward-looking and everlasting – just like the Club it represents.
The black base frames the iconic black and red stripes into a progressive take on the AC Milan identity. The jersey features the Italian Tricolore on the sleeve cuffs and the Milan coat of arms on the upper back.
The new jersey connects the many generations of Rossoneri through their common love for the team because the jersey represents something more. A jersey that captures the style and beauty of what makes Milan special. From storied heritage to new innovations, the Club is footballing royalty. Milan is an attitude that says this City is different, it’s that Milan touch.
"The new AC Milan Home jersey is a combination of fashion, design, street culture and heritage. The jersey pays tribute to what makes Milan unique," said Marco Mueller, PUMA Senior Head of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel. "To bring this jersey to life we wanted to create a campaign rooted in Milan culture. We have worked exclusively with Milanese artists, talent, and creatives all who support the club and understand what makes this club special to represent 'That Milan Touch.'"

Since its founding in 1908, Inter have almost always worn black and blue stripes, earning them the nickname Nerazzurri. According to the tradition, the colours were adopted to represent the nocturnal sky: in fact, the club was established on the night of 9 March, at 23:30; moreover, blue was chosen by Giorgio Muggiani because he considered it to be the opposite colour to red, worn by the Milan Cricket and Football Club rivals.
During the 1928–29 season, however, Inter were forced to abandon their black and blue uniforms. In 1928, Inter's name and philosophy made the ruling Fascist Party uneasy; as a result, during the same year the 20-year-old club was merged with Unione Sportiva Milanese: the new club was named Società Sportiva Ambrosiana after the patron saint of Milan. The flag of Milan (the red cross on white background) replaced the traditional black and blue. In 1929 the black-and-blue jerseys were restored, and after World War II, when the Fascists had fallen from power, the club reverted to their original name.In 2008, Inter celebrated their centenary with a red cross on their away shirt. The cross is reminiscent of the flag of their city, and they continue to use the pattern on their third kit. In 2014, the club adopted a predominantly black home kit with thin blue pinstripes before returning to a more traditional design the following season.
